Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Anyone going extra days for RTO?

Is anyone else going extra days just to add a buffer in case tracking is wrong?

@hx I have heard so many such examples in the past 6 months. It just isn't worth the efforts.

I'm hitting but not exceeding. I exceeded last year because I was in line for a promotion, which got approved through several layers of leadership, then my VC, who made 70x what I made last year, decided there wasn't money for promotions, so I'm not doing extra to get an attaboy that'll be forgotten about 30 seconds later and make no extra impact.

I haven’t even passed 60% with the new requirements. Hoovering around 48-57% and haven’t got called out or anything. Its hard to go in 3 days a week with children.

Nope, only 3 days/week normally. Some weeks I only work 2 days in office, and wind up being about 1-2 days below the 60% for the month. My direct manager seems to be OK with that, don't really care what higher ups think. According to my manager, I actually have one of the highest in office % in my department, so not too worried about it.

No, I am working in office just under the requirement and crossing my fingers I will be severed.

@bc this is the most cucked thing I've ever read.

Salaried used to mean you were trusted to manage your time and given autonomy to complete the work. It did NOT mean you work overtime for no pay LMAO.

The only people who are salaried anymore are the executives. Everyone else is in the slave class.

@bc um, no. It's illegal to force people to work overtime and not pay them for it.

Even if you're salaried.

If you're suggesting we should let the company just get away with incorrect reporting for something directly tied to performance you're suggesting we allow the most "ethical" bank great us even more unethically. Maybe they should get their fu--ing reporting right or stop tracking all together instead of making their lack of appropriate technology the problem of the employees.

Just work your days, track them in your own, and shut up.
The more you complain or claim to file an HR case, the more reason for GK to just say it’s too difficult to track and push 5 days in office.
Same thing with salaried employees. Salaried doesn’t mean you get to leave early, it means you are getting paid more to work longer days without earning OT pay.
Bunch of sissies.

OP, this is exactly the type of slave behavior our esteemed CEO and her favorite pet, Elzero is hoping to see from employees. Don't give in. Go report if the numbers weren't recorded correctly. It is not on the employee but the employers recording capability to prove it.

Nope I'm not and I actively open a case with HR when the reporting is incorrect.
