I once worked at a company that assigned our teams "(Country name) buddies" who would do all the cr-p work so we would be free to do all the fun and interesting stuff. They were helpers, not replacements. Don't worry!

They just needed a little training by the team...

Within 6 months we were all laid off.

Never be suspicious that corporations have spent billions developing these tools for no other reason than to "help" you have an easier time to do your job. LOL
Make sure to justify your existence on your CAP by explaining in great detail how you deployed the "tools" to help GM cut costs.
