@OP With the coming of age in AI not only interns but every employee now in a job is at risk with no hope to abandon!

If any of them actually get brought on full time it'll be pretty shocking to go from having their As kissed with lavish theme Park off campus events and execs fawning over them to being targeted for so much exec hate and eventual downsizing.
Believe it or not this is considered a great job opportunity to someone who has probably just spent the last few years working in a restaurant or some other entry level type job while in college. You know where they did actual real work on location every day and were probably paid very little? Many WF people seem to think they are too good to endure any of those indecencies.

They are glad for a paid intern position in this market. Let them have their time, they know how hard it is.
Nah, they can get some experience and use it to get a job at a better employer.
