Everyone knows what's going to happen when the dust settles: Everyone left will be extremely overworked and not compensated for it. People will make $20 an hour and do the job of three people. We're just cogs in a massive machine.

Yep. We are just cells on a spreadsheet. When they let people go, the work still needs to be done by those left. How are they going to choose which VSP applications they accept? How will they ensure entire teams aren’t just gone? Will they make sure there are enough seasoned folks still around who know what work needs to be done?
They have said there’s going to be a reorganization in Aug or Sept so teams may look a lot different by the time the VSP folks are gone, but that still means tasks they used to do will still need to be done by other people.
The timing of this really su-ks because we all know what’s going on in Sept…open enrollment updates. Those of us on the BTS side will be crazy busy with less resources to get it all done. Salaried folks will be expected to pull long hours for the same pay. Not looking forward to that… assuming I’m still around.
