Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Imagine actually caring about USBs Political future

How much of a corporate bootlicker do you have to be to actually join the bank’s PAC? This place would drop you in a second without thinking twice, why waste even a second of your life on it?

I can only speak for myself as a former financial contributor to USB's PAC. I am chair of a committee for an external organization of which USB is a member, and a significant part of what they do involves lobbying for members.

PAC contributions are public information and it is expected as part of my role at USB, as well as being a representative of USB on the committee, that I contribute financially to the PAC.

With that being said, I've never taken the time to look at the public data until recently and I was honestly surprised at how few USB employees contributed. To be clear, I'm nobody special or important. I do NOT make the big bucks here. What a feckin' scam my leadership has been running on me. They don't even contribute! I could never afford to contribute a significant amount but I canceled my payroll deductions immediately after seeing that. F this place.

I'm already taking a pay cut in transportation and cost of living expenses. They can shove their PAC request where the sun doesn't shine
