Has anyone returned to Intel after the layoff last year? How intensive is the interview process for engineers?
Consider reapplying to Intel because job market is tough

I did this as well (laid off in CPM 2024). Went Back early Summer in 2025, it was worse than I left. Didn't see a future at Intel, so I continued to apply for Jobs outside Intel. I viewed my employment at Intel in 2025 as "A job to find another Job".
Thankfully i found a job before end of 2025 and Left before end of the year. Found something better outside Intel and I am happy I left.
That's my 2 cents.
Familiarize with the term "hire to fire" --it's what managers are doing to keep their existing teams future-layoff-proof.
