Did anyone get severance from HCL? I've heard of at least one, but that person worked for about 3 years after the State Farm "rebranding ". I was let go after 2 years and 1 month, but didn't receive anything.

Wait until everyone finds out HCL is giving VIP agents a support fast-pass to skip the line, while everyone else in the org is left waiting days for a response.
I don’t agree. That outsourcing provided a good off ramp for some fat lazy entitled blono folks to get off the books. Turns out a certificate from a central Illinois college is worth what you paid for.
The day IT moves to Dallas 100% will be recognition that we are serious about talent.
@vf you are obviously an hourly worker.
HCL was brought in to replace highly paid and educated tech workers with offshore Indian workers.
They soon realized they couldn't replace American tech workers who had 20 years experience with offshore call center workers who at best took a few coding classes, or at worst had no experience and were shadowed by someone pretending to have experience.
So now, they need to hire back some experienced people to babysit the call center kids.
Weird. Why would SF hire those that couldn’t cut it?
@gt you must not do literally anything that interfaces with HCL.
Spoiler: it ain't great.
Hcl found that they could find higher level of talent at a small % of the cost.
The only people who got severance were people that were cut during the first year when we all had guaranteed deals.
A smaller number of us got retention deals for the 2nd year, and an even smaller number received another retention deal late last year that's effective until EOY 26.
@bq retired. I was one of the few that benefited from the hcl deal, getting the bonuses, then getting 6 months of unemployment, then retiring
I haven't heard of anyone getting severance from HCL. Not too many of the rebadgers left.
Not that I heard of. I think hcl was he-l bent on cutting as much US people as possible.
Where are you at now?
