It's that time of the year again and a certain Product person has been leaking about "headcount adjustments" Anyone have more details? I'm tired of the same people failing upwards and I've been looking for something else but it's not a good time to be job hunting.

Calling the chief of staff a dog is a bit insulting... to dogs.
I think it's entirely reasonable to hate on middle/upper management if they're just taking the bs they're getting from above and passing it downstream for the rest of us to deal with. A real leader would either grow a spine and push back, or be transparent that it's bs.
Makes you wonder what those managers are even paid for.
Hating on anyone in the team including middle and upper management is just unfair. People are trying their best dealing with a lot of bs impossed from above day in and day out.
lol you guys are so salty. Maybe focus on yourselves. Hosseinitabar being director at 30 speaks to his product ability and knowledge. Keep being salty
Oh well that’s interesting… some posts have come down. Maybe the big dog is watching… hi big dog >:(
Maybe tell his chief of staff 😂
plenty of other people to bring your ideas to.
He’s so two-faced just like the monopoly man or colonel sanders
I heard Jeremy has a lap hog.
Certain execs and their very competent and popular chief of staff … need to go.
There is a big gap between the spin Omid puts on things and the value being realised by the business. SS&C have entered into agreements which will remove lots of jobs on the basis ai can do it. To an extent its true but they will remove the people doing things and keep the show ponies who will struggle, ai or not. Jeremy has already shared with people he shouldn't cuts are coming, he cant help himself, but thats because he is a pug faced, helium taking, poorly endowed, tactless mo--n.
An incompetent executive let it slip during a meeting that layoffs are coming, in front of people that really weren't supposed to know so the cat is well and truly out of the bag now.
The fun detail is that thanks to the sheer incompetence of certain execs dragging their heels so much, they've had to push the Q3 layoffs they planned to Q4.
You can't make this sh-t up, they can't even do layoffs competently.
@ak5 tell us more!
Omid has been talking out of his rear but like a stopped clock he's right twice a day. There is a reason he doesn't actually know about this year's and all will become clear in the coming weeks.
Good luck everyone.
I don't think it's happening. We're all overworked. I did ask Hosseinitabar about it but he didn't know.
What’s the latest on this? Was there no big redundancy in April and autumn last year?
All I heard from Omid is that some"changes are coming" but that was before the promotions were announced. He must've learned from the mess he made last year... he stopped talking about churn, acquisitions or other sensitive information in group meetings.
