Every company that mandates Return-To-Office knows that it will cause a certain amount of attrition.
Yes let’s all go back to campus more often to sit in our closed door offices.
But seriously what is motivating this? It’s extremely tone deaf.
It’s been well documented that productivity is not hindered when people work remote. We have 6 years of evidence of this.
Perfect timing too with gas prices jumping and will continue to climb.
I read the flexible work policy that was linked, and it indicated fully remote work should only be considered if you reside 50+ miles from a SAS site. Wonder if we’ll soon see the local fully remote workers be told to come back in some capacity.
The punishments will continue until morale improves.
