You have no idea how powerful the consulting companies are. They can even replace CTOs.and CEOs. All money transactions are done offshore and at higher levels. It is better to be a contractor at the big 4 banks and fortune 500 companies.
Indian consulting companies make billions while Citizens struggle to run their families!

Yes this morning, in the leadership show they talked about wanting to move the different functions in the org moving in the same direction. Using the same tools.. a dev shouldn’t be building a system using xyz tools and another dev building with abc tools. Reduce the amount of redundant tools and everyone has access to the same things and what they produce with it is up to them.

They also talked about investing in their employees and moving away from contractors.. they said they had talks with MD/directors earlier this week so in your one one you should get a idea of where your groups headed.
