The optum board is always more alive than this one or UHCs. What are the thoughts on 2/19? Per the Optum board big layoffs that day? For UHG/UHC?

Yep, this one happened. I was part of it, several from my Team. Out of 60, 30 got laid off and 10 were redeployed. Its real and the Optum Layoff forum is much more accurate and active. Look for a job now while you have one.

Watch the Optum layoff board also, its very active and very accurate. Layoffs have been posted there that is spot on. We were part of the 2/19 layoff that had started that week. All reported on the Optum layoff board. I worked with great, high performing individuals and they were all let go. We are just a number. Thank you to those Managers that didnt drink the Kool Aid and are giving heads up on these boards. Bless you all and good luck!

Heard from a pretty reliable source that there will be monthly layoffs but not always in same departments. They take a couple so you feel fortunate to have survived and the anxiety quiets a bit and then they will yank the rug out.

@b2 Any idea when and which department? I’m currently on the M&R side. I asked my supervisor, and the fact that she didn’t answer my question kind of gave me my answer. I just find it odd that we’re still IB mid-February, especially with calls being extremely slow and one of the big managers already moving to another department.
There was a call today with the client services org. People throughout the org were let go today. :(

@b2 Thank you for the heads up. There have been a few things that happened last week that made me wonder. What divisions and/or states? Would a state that is in an RFP year do layoffs?
