@5rv I heard it’s because there is a ton of integration work to do and not any territory overlap.
There isn’t redundancy for the front line, though corporate jobs will be at risk after the merger.
@5ne Makes sense. Management is avoiding bad press to could potentially delay state approvals from California and New York for the Cox merger.
I just heard that layoff conversations are on hold until after the merger is complete.
I heard 55000 layoffs coming in April.
It’ll affect mostly the people that don’t do anything.
My source is that we can say whatever we want on here without any evidence. My goal is to make everyone worried for their job so they feel insecure.
doesn't have to happen all at the same time to set this off. Look at the call center..sales.... network groups. that have been let go already..ect that has happened. dont know what @43r heard just thought id point out the nonsense @46j is trying to point
lets not fight each other and share info freely
@43r
No WARN notice and no signs of layoffs.
Come back when you have anything other than your feelings to talk about.
We aren’t here to pay you on the head and make you feel important.
@385 is either a company person most likely or trying to kiss a-s?? layoffs are happing and its affecting everyone and group. it will keep happing after the merger. Management is running crazy trying to calm fires till merger completes after that they dont care
once an areas high split gets done layoffs will most likely happen which is why the rush now to complete certain areas is on. this is when field will feel the pain. Company doesn't care for you.....
lets see if it happens the way people are saying it can
@385
What doesn’t look good for “us”?
The guy hasn’t done anything and. You’re forecasting doom and gloom; more big feelings from someone that doesn’t know anything.
@2zb tomato tamato:)
COO will have bigger say in restructuring effort. and Nick Jeffery has pedigree in turnaround
they do these type of changes to play good cop bad cop if it happens. time will tell but doesnt look good for us. in the end its all about money.....
Will be very interesting to see how it shakes out. Sales, Cust Service, and Field are rolling into him.
It is common for the COO to become the next CEO just like Winfrey did. It could happen when Winfrey's contract is done in 2028.
@2wn OP inquired about new CEO. Nick will be the new COO, not CEO. Note that there is a difference in roles.
Damn he nailed it. Our new COO.
