Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Did anyone receive the separation agreement for the mid Jan RIF?

I have been waiting for the doc more than 3 weeks since I was informed on the RIF in mid-January. I am not sure why it takes so long to send the standard Docu sign via email on the separation. I just want to make sure I am not the only one. Did anybody receive the separation agreement?

Nov 28th was our last day. Mid-January was when they finally sent the DocuSign. It’s now mid-February and still NO SEVERANCE for the CDS Transformation team.

Is anyone else at Citi seeing this level of incompetence? Hard to pay bills with 'process delays.' Total joke.

@1j0 It came from "Citi via Docusign". The HR Rep handling yours must be a slower one.

@193 was it from a group email box? I still don't see anything.

Layoff communicated to me by my Mgr on Jan 14th.
Received severance agreement last night Feb 13th.

@rm You're correct about choosing snail mail instead of electronic anything, paystubs, W2s, etc..

Citi and other employers want to save money on postage and printing paper so they try to sell to employees via email that they should choose or opt-in to get electronic everything in Workday.

Do NOT do this. Employees should always assume they may be Laidoff or Fired from their jobs. Once you're Laidoff or Fired you will NO longer have access to Workday or whatever HR/Payroll platform the company uses.

Always choose to receive Paper/Snail Mail documents.

@az was it via email? I am assuming so since you do Docusign for it... colleagues laid off at end of last March said they didn't get anything until post last non-working day, but boss said they have been working to improve things.

@kd my boss warned me to make sure all my settings in Workday were set to snail mail versus email/online access as that caused prior impacted folks issues. Check to make sure your settings are correct ASAP!

@az

Was it via email or snail mail? I have not heard anything yet.

Anyone with 3/4 Rating - get let go and denied severence?

@az Correct and that was how it was during my round. However, was relatively orderly: week after 60 day notice got separation agreement; got paid PTO next pay period or final pay period. Got serverence 2-3 weeks after returned.

HR rep is the person that drives the process. If they are swamped or take time off, window lengthens.

I have not received anything yet. But the letter said when administratively ready. Whatever that means. But I hope they get their act together and get it out. I haven’t even gotten my W-2 yet and it wasn’t ready at mid January layoffs.

People who were RIF'ed in September didn't see their paperwork until November 20'ish and the severance checks didn't get cut until first week of Jan/26. It is a slow moving process so sit back - relax - enjoy the paid 2 months.

I have not either. Only thing I received was the return equipment box a couple weeks ago. Still waiting for the separation details. Last day of non working notice is March 16th

Yes, got it a few days ago. Think it depends on how active your HR Rep is.
