There’s a chance the next round of layoffs may affect management roles in the coming weeks.

Please 🙏 let it be me.
@a1 I can tell you it was planned.
I left in December. I was in middle/upper management in Consumer Finance. It's coming. HC will fall around 15-20k more people in 2026; the only question is if the big one is now, or in Q4, like 2025.
Might be ~5k. Might be another 10k, depending on what course they plotted. 2026 is going to be rocky @ VZ. Target HC for EOY 2026 is sub-80k, per the annual, 3 and 5 year corporate plans that were re-worked when Dan came aboard.
One of the many reasons I told my boss, I'm not moving to NJ, and if you're looking for volunteers, I'm happy to raise my hand...
Ask your Frontier peers, BTW, what their RIF package was. And what you'll be getting soon... It's not pretty.
omg - master of the obvious!!
you wouldn't even imagine this if you were in management position...
haha...Stop guessing without any base.
One Sr.dir, in some cases one AD per deparment and most likely AVP roles gone in regions. So the chances are if you have 2 ADs and 2 Sr. Dir in the same region doing the same $hit are pretty much on the line to be axed. The goal is to get as many direct reports as it could be (30) under one AD and that continues on the top.
A chance that something may happen. Wow
About damn time!
How do you know? So many rumors flying around
