Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Perf Review on 23

My manager set my performance review for Jan 23.

That Jan 23 is also the last date for performance review.
Should I be worried.

@OP Lots of managers do it at the last minute. Doesn't mean anything at all. Mines done it at the last possible second since I've been there.

If you got am IM, you will probably receive a surprise meeting Tuesday morning on the 20th, and never see the review. If you survive to the 23rd... you're good.

It could be a good thing. A lot of people like to do uncomfortable tasks first. So, you probably will get a good/decent review since it is one of the last reviews your manager will do.

I thought I read on here Needs improvement and inconsistantly meets were needed to be given early....if you are on 23rd wouldn't that be good? I haven't had mine yet and thought it might be a good thing...

Only you can determine that. Most managers are fairly busy and that could be only time they could schedule. I'm assuming you're also not the only performance review your manager needs to do. If there are 10 people on your team, that's at least 5 hours.
