hmm, who was on the board all 5 of those years? Oh yeah, the current CEO who's burning the company down, the same one who's been watching it burn for years.
verizon, where id--ts fail upwards and good people are just thrown away.

For some strange reason, Dan probably wasn't paying attention until someone at Blackrock or Vanguard tapped his shoulder.
We all think these guys are tuned in, but in most cases, they aren't
Yeah, but he is going to put customers first. Novel concept that has never been said before. That's why he is getting paid $60 MILLION. Let's go V Teamers!
@cm Bingo.
@as ok you can invest your money into the company and I’ll put it in the S&P
Dan has been around the whole time too....
@ar I thank Vz also. 30 years great pay. Great time off. 401k. Profit sharing. Great bonuses back in the day and can't complain now. Stocks years ago. I get ot. Shift diff and on call pay. I work it when I want or pass it. The company makes a lot of money and I believe it will be back to making more
@ar the stock will be back up and with the dividend it will be Easy money made. Investors like the dividend. People who bought it a few years back are making money. Triming the fat and changes will be a plus for the price. More than the op can add picking a high price and a drop.
so apparently some of the d-mb a-s' on this thread can't read or comprehend, they must be from executive management or the id--ts they kept.
It didn't say stock price, it said 5yr return. That takes into account dividends, so in 5yrs you've lost appx 8% of your investment, even if you count the dividends.
Your 6.5% dividend is because the stock price su-ks.
Bottom line, just as hatchet and the board have watched it burn for 5yrs and are now nuking the place investors have lost money.
Thank them all now, the id--ts left, hatchet, and the mo--ns on the board.
@OP 6.5% dividend a year and when the stock goes back up a few dollars which it will it's a win win. Thanks Verizon
