And push as many of us out as they can along the way. Anyone who thinks this is about anything other than maximizing profits by getting rid of people on the cheap is being naive.

I get the folks who were hired to be remote. But for everyone else, just go somewhere else that will let you do your laundry and save money on childcare while u pretend to be as effective and useful as if u were in office. Some teams have not been remote almost at all because of their responsibilities. Others have been in at least 2 days a week. Then there’s a crowd of people whose departments just basically let them not come in at all. First, the remote workers’ constant interruptions of kids, and option to check things off your to do list is a pain for those of us who need to be in office but need your help. Why do I need to schedule my day around your availability and leave the office late because of it? You’re not around when school lets out, take kids to lunch, etc. so i basically have your attention until 2pm if I’m lucky. Then u send some emails at the end of the day when I want to go home. U don’t need to be in the office? Maybe that’s true but if you are crying so much it makes me think u know u have a sweet deal and no one else will pay you the same amount or more to do your job. The market speaks so go out and see what you get.
@at quit balling. Go back to work!
Yes. Its really going to su-k in January when the remote workers are still allowed to continue with their charade. Fire them now…without severance! They owe the company money from their shenanigans.
Why is RTO painful? Didn't you guys go to work pre-pandemic?
We got it. How many more times are you going to post this.
