No matter what your end date is? I already sent out about 50 applications. I know some people are taking some time to recover, but I'm too scared to wait.

I started selling turkeys and business is booming. If sales continue at this pace, and I see no reason to believe otherwise, I'll be back on my feet soon.
50 is a lot but it isn’t. The job market is insanely rough. Most of us that took severance last year are still looking for jobs. I was lucky to land one after about 120 resumes in 5 months. Applying for jobs is so different now and some take forever (like 1-2 hours). You rarely get replies back or an email 2 months later saying sorry and it’s almost always a AI generated reply. I highly recommend getting on it now. Wishing you all good luck and I am cheering for all of you.
Here's something I came across earlier posted on the site that I found helpful.

It's not like olden times out there. With AI LinkedIn reviewing all resumes, you need to send out a ton. Focus on creating a create resume and reaching out to those directly that you know but you shouldn't wait around recovering (recover at your next job).
50 is a lot. Are you being stratetigic? Are you customizing your resume? Be proactive but don’t get frantic. It may take awhile but you will land something
Started applying the week after Dan’s earnings meeting
I’ve been applying since September.
Yes. I started submitting applications 2 weeks ago when I started to get a bad feeling about my employment status. I’ve had a couple of interviews for fully remote roles, and this has cheered me up considerably.
I'm sure others have sent out resumes. Inevitably though once the dust settles people forget and fall back into their old groove at Verizon.
