Nowhere to hide from rifs. Amazon, msft, tmo, Salesforce , meta, etc all rifs all the time. Meta having AI write performance reviews. Also nothing to reapply internally. It is a different world now.
No place is safe from this, I would treat VZ like any other place. I don't hold them to a different standard. Yes I would work for VZ again

Absolutely not. I've grown resentful with Verizon and the constant threat of being the next sheep to be sla-ghtered. I was the sheep this time and I'll take my chances in the open market. Good luck to you
