Yup, got “leading” in more than half of my year-end reviews throughout my career. All of that meant nothing.
@aa you guys think it has anything to do with performance… it doesn’t, it was mostly about cutting highest salaries in each band. New hires are not usually high on the scale.
I hear you, 31 years for me. They kept guys that never came into the office and were bare minimum people. Its all about perception, do a few power points and look like a hero, keep your job.
The new hires probably are better at making pretty charts with AI. Forget that they have no clue what it all means.
Sorry to hear guys. These big companies simply don't care smh. Sad but true.

Over 20 years. Gone. Gave everything I had, everyday. Personal vendetta made me 1 of 2. They kept new hires over me. This hurts.
No one is ever safe, even the person saying you were safe is not safe and they shouldn't have said that. Sorry going through that, best of luck to you.
