@bv it’s a big gang in GTS. They save and promote their own friends. There is no scope for knowledgeable or hardworking individuals to rise in that org.
It’s toxic culture. Even their friends are not even real friends. They are more like boot lickers.

Pranayyyeee is the worst of all. Viveeek makes most of the wrong decisions and the VPs follow him like God. Based on the recent SD reduction they retained all their inner circle of people. Let knowledgeable good people to gooo. Architecture lead is one of the best in telecom industry is taking the offer or let go??? Why they are picking good people?

@ak Senthil is not as bad as pray .. Although I never found him visionary or special. He just march on the orders of Shanks and V. He is not rude on your face.
This newly promoted Praayn guy is bad news for GTS and Verizon. Zero social skills..

GTS especially is need of a leadership change.....too many issues to type out, but needless to say.... but does it really need that many VPs, AVPs and SDs when they still don't have a plan to migrate off 50 year old systems?

There are at least two if not three levels of 'leadership' in VGS-T / and the various SVPs that are all nothing but ballast. Not just the two you mention. The only one of them that was reasonably competent is the one who already announced that she is out.
It seems pretty clear that Shankar is getting set up for a bye-bye, and I hope that without him for cover, Vivek, Wael and Sudarshan will follow shortly
Oh there is snobby VP named Praynaa under Vivek.. He thinks of himself as if he owns the place..
They all need to be packed up and shipped back to India so that they can practice their caste system there.

One of the new EVPs is getting Shankar svp’s so I say he is out. It’s only a matter of time, same thing with the communications team…. An EVP reporting to an EVP makes no sense.
