Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Just switched 8 lines to T-Mobile

Can’t support a company upending American workers’ lives while stuffing the execs pockets with millions.

Just switched over 4 lines this weekend and convinced 4 other family members to switch to T Mobile.

The best part is that T Mobile is in fact cheaper for everyone. So it’s a win - win.

@OP Doing the same. They have a family plan that costs $150 a month…same cost as my current Vz plan (with employee discount).

@a1 Time out. It's you who has paid for your family's livelihood over the years. You made good choices, worked hard, earned pay and benefits, and provided for your loved ones. Just so happens you've worked at Verizon while making those things happen. If not at Verizon, it woulda been elsewhere. But you are the one who made it happen.

Sh-t, what are you going to do when T Mobile lays off thousands themselves ?

You guys are mad at me for finding better service for cheaper? You can thank Dan and his PayPal bros for incentivizing me to leave.

Will probably switch a few more family members over as well.

I get it, you feel betrayed by the company you have worked hard for, but you think T mobile is not doing the same thing? Or any other big company. Cut cost and stuff pockets of executives? That’s their job, that’s what they get paid to do.

Good for you. I have been a Verizon customer for two decades. I will be switching as well.

This is the stupidest thread I ever heard for Verizon employees . Not a win-win. Verizon has paid for our families’ livelihood over the years. Why would we leave to go to the competition? Obviously you are a T-Mobile employee.
