Verizon employees have been advised (through management) not to speak on any social media or face being pulled into 'review meetings.' We're not even allowed to post group outings, literally nothing.
What in the world is going on?

@a9
I wanted everyone in the office. that's half the fun!
Please post some internal emails here! Would love to see!
The 'rumor' was leaked to outlets via WSJ & Reuters, the others just copied the 'source close to the matter' stuff, and VZ officially has no comment to the media. The various social sites go nuts and everyone gets themselves worked into a lather, meanwhile the 'Nov 20' date drop from DS and media's take(swift action by end of year) just swirls in the wind. Big Brother is a master of media/communication manipulation, their silence is calculated and part of the overall strategy to execute the sacking with as little additional fodder as possible. This communication IS the strategy folks.
We were told to work from home on Thursday and not in the office. Don't want to see the crying or anyone going postal.
@OP are we forgetting that this company does not give two sh.ts about the employee?
The gustapo say no social media until 12/2 as to not effect black friday sales or our stock price during black friday... it's not about us.. its about shareholders. ALWAYS.
Nothing is final . The excel sheets were shared on FirstCut1, FirstCut2& FirstCut3. They already understood the market by releasing the numbers alone . Now everyone is expecting 15k and they do only for FirstCut1 & FirstCut2 approx. around 8k.
There's a Communications freeze as they're trying to limit the backlash.
