Does Wells wait until at least the first performance review or do they layoff even before that?

Has nothing to do with tenure or performance. Its not a performance decision its a financial decision
Unless you are new hire Indian, otherwise you get laid off anytime
At will employment
I've seen people with less than 6 months get laid off, as well as people with 20+ years. It seems like a lottery as they try to avoid discrimination lawsuits.
Anyway, no one is safe.
They layoff whenever they feel like it…
