Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Was the plan to do a week in the office?

Didn’t last long with the “return to office.”

Hearing of a large number of senior execs gaining exemptions to this policy or simply not following it . .. “Do as I say not as I do “ seems be the mantra

Súper odd that we got this RTO despite being a company that facilitates at home work.

the aging ELT members do not realize many teams are more efficient at home, especially since we are a global company.

It lasted about a week and most are back home.

The fact that you didn’t even name drop the new company means it’s a fake post. Just another loser who is obsessed with HP.

Did everyone stop coming this week? I hope there’s a revolt. HP laid me off in June. Ended up being the best thing for me. Got to comfortable and didn’t ever look elsewhere. I think the remote perk was key in me staying. In August, I found a new job with a fully remote company so I kind of chuckled when I saw the RTO. Figured it was coming as a way to push people to leave. Dell did it over a year ago.

Best thing about the new job is they actually pay decent and the company is actually growing rather than being persistently stuck in the mud.
