Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Is the union and company done negotiating?

Is the union and company done negotiating? I haven’t heard anything about negotiations, either good or bad. Last I heard it was unsettled on many issues. So now
does it just sit till after the holidays? August is on its way. If anyone has feedback please let me know.

The union is a tool. AT&T used to teach this in their management courses. Verizons new CEO will decide whether or not a strike is needed and the union, and all their sheep, uh members that is, will do what they’re told to do. It’s been this way since divestiture.

If I'm still here next August, I hope they walk for a very long time. Nothing makes me happier than scabbing for big bucks

Don’t expect much from the union, they sold their members out many years ago.

The Union and Company are the same. Dirty backdoor deals to benefit only the Union boot lickers. We are now in the days of Company Unions. You got just as much of a chance calling HR with with a grievance 0%

When they could not come to an agreement on an extension earlier this year, they decided to pick up negotiations next year.
