Please, somebody, tell me I'm wrong.

Last minute meeting invites anyone?
@mj um, hello, surely kits, reporting and RFP/DDQs
@mj Surely the next AI casualties. I don’t know how they still have a job in 18 months.
@kz nah that’s PSG. In APAC, I’ve seen a few portfolio analysts that are data monkeys masquerading as portfolio specialists. If Sales weren’t so lazy and actually knew how to read data and do basic excel, the PAs wouldn’t be in a job.
@jr there's a rumour that they will get rid of half of global distribution given the massive outflows and the dishonesty problem of certain individuals.
They also wised up to a lot of them not actually doing much work. Expensive seat takers.
Are there any rumors about which groups will be impacted? Trying to mentally prepare for tomorrow…
@ha I know right, the anticipation is electrifying. It can’t come soon enough.
Still expecting the layoffs in marketing that were talked about months ago. Or maybe there won’t be a big shift, just this delightful but constant trickle of “wait, that person is gone?”
@ge a 15 minute meeting on a Thursday in the morning the week of a department restructure sure feels fishy to me.
@ge For that meeting on Thursday, hopefully we only have to sit glued to our mailbox/calendar for a half hour this time and not a full hour.
@g7 I expect the next one to be right before Q1 2026. They informed the Helpdesk etc in June(?) and their last day was in September. Then at the end of October they announced the next set of victims. It is like they pick a group, set them off on their Accenture training journey...and then move onto next unlucky group. As bad as the first group of Accenture employees are, I honestly thought they would rethink this. But, I guess if you work cheap there is much forgiveness. I think the second set, especially the way they were announced, really woke people up who thought maybe the layoffs would end and they would be safe. I expect to start seeing people announcing their exit over the next few months because it is obvious jobs are not stable here.
@fn is this related to the 15 mins Ramon meeting?
Not a chance of it happening right after earnings are released
Thursday Thursday Thursday
Anyone getting a calendar invite for a meeting with their boss?
@ac The layoffs from last week were told they would be on the payroll til February (training their foreign replacements). So, it is likely those aren't "on the books" yet and may turn up at the 2026 Q1 earnings call.
@bm No...you must train your Accenture worker first. They are like roomy vestals awaiting your knowledge! Afterwards, you take the "package" like a good little boy or girl, and see how useless the (contracted) "outplacement services" really are. Only upper managers are allowed to earn a living wage in the US. All others better hope the shutdown ends before then.
Strap in and giddy up biatches. Halloween is over but the slashing is just getting started!
I want to leave!! Does anyone know if we’re under a non-compete agreement as employees. I honestly can’t remember. What if we take a package or retire?
@ah CFO or COO org?
Pull up your socks and get ready for carnage
@ah which teams, roles, countries?
@ah any word on volume??
There are more cuts happening today under the CFO org
No explicit mention of new layoffs in the Q3 earnings. However, going back to the July cuts, some people leaders were clearly not discounting continued efficiencies based on the reorgs that have taken place to-date.
In other words, I wouldn't expect a headline-garnering cut again, but now thru bonus payout is historically when we see smaller, targeted headcount reductions.
