Billy bob or Kelly?

At the time of the merger announcement I was sad. Sad only because I saw the writing on the wall about what was to happen, and it did. I did not see this merger coming, which is shame on me. I did not envision that our BOD would approve such a horrible deal!! I unfortunately held out hope that I was wrong about the decisions that were made. I was not...
Both are pretty awful, but I believe the issue started with King. All he really cared about was money (how many times did we hear about him being a white share cropper in eastern NC) and legacy. When Allison retired, Kelly was elevated. That was the beginning of the end. Kelly imagines he is smarter than the average banker. Well...we can see where that got him. Ego has ki-led many a good bank franchise. Now Truist (why did Kelly agree to the name change) is beyond the brink.
Both. One is incredibly stupid and one is incredibly evil.
I’d say Bill because he came from a family of wealthy Duke Alums. Everything was handed to him due to white privilege. No clue about hard work and starting on an equal playing field. Resign Bill and give your job to someone more deserving.
Kelly was a su---r clearly, but Bill is the l-wlife grifter who su-kered him. Up to you which one is worse.
They are both bad but at least Kelly surrounded himself with good executives who could run the bank while he ran around spouting his nonsense. The fact BillyBob and this board have no succession plan in place tells you all you need to know about todays SunTruist.
Kelly was a far, FAR superior CEO that made a horrifically terrible decision at the end of his career. Bill is just irredeemable.
No one cares.
Billy Bob is the worst, but Kelly King is not far behind. Kelly King was a sell out, but working for him was much better than working for Billy Bob The Destroyer.
Kelly by far
Both are cons imo.
