Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Is what I've heard about the OK account true?

I'm a somewhat new hire -- off the rip I've already heard all kinds of things about how inefficient the teams are, how useless the managers are, how petty managers are towards each other, senior staff/TFALs are slave driven to meet impossible deadlines, and onboarding/training is nonexistent. Is this account really that deep in trouble?

This company is really that deep in trouble. Look at this entire forum

Some of the older people figured out how to dig in to an account that they liked, and cement their place there. The younger people tended get passed around more. You'd land on a troubled account and then you couldn't get away from it because you were too valuable. I got burned out, and quit. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@as nobody quitting is partly the problem. The people who never quit are the ones who NEED to quit. A lot of managers included. The people who are left literally couldn't find work any where else than right where they are because they got comfortable in place. Very stale cultures in some accounts, due to lack of vision and a strong desire to retain the status
quo. I became familiar with operations on a few different accounts and it was the same story.

No idea about OK. But I’m in CA and can attest to training being nonexistent. They give you a few pdfs and let you go. It’s laughable. I’ve also never met my manager and no clue what they do on a daily basis, if anything. I’m only here because it’s fully remote.

Unless you’re talking about California’s DBO account.

I work on a different state account. It's an established account. Mostly, things seem fine. Of course there are some issues but the projects for system enhancements are mostly successful. I don't see the toxic environment within our account, that people are noting on this web site. I don't have any loyalty to, or wonderful things to say, about Gainwell.

NoBody is quitting. The account is stable and profitable. The complaints are certainly not specific to any particular accounts.
