- Stock price suffers
- Government intervention
- Major incident, eg. Valdez, Texas City ….
Don’t expect anything more from our selfish, self gratifying leadership.

@c4 This is why OIMS was developed. Built in deniability for management that can blame employees for not follow company policies and procedures.
If Guyana is said event with amount of Indian level employees working the projects there watch out. It would absolutely crumble the company to BP levels along with losing our prized pig. Cheap labor does not always equal a superior product. You get what you pay for and it's unfortunately going to rear it's head. Employees have been sounding the alarm already
#3 is bound to happen. I can see the CSB panel report already…..XOM did a top down assessment of budgetary needs without doing a risk basis while also purposely attriting their site based competence in a similar fashion. This ultimately led to less than 10 competent people at each manufacturing site and the stopped trying to fix the constant gaps due to being overwhelmed an purposely ranked poorly compared to the Executives trying to outsource their roles.
What’s the plan? What do we do - beyond write letters to our representatives and the government and look for another job?

Limiting mindset is the real enemy, accepting defeat without even trying, just thinking but not acting. Change starts with trying. Even small steps count in this battle.
Decades ago no one imagined offshoring at this scale, yet it happened.
Same now they think we can’t do anything. Maybe we don’t have a perfect plan or any plan at all..
but if we keep pushing in any of our capabilities and capacities,
we can, we’ll get there.
