I opted out of VSP. I have mixed emotions on staying.... who else is in my shoes?

Well, I would say that for those who chose not to take the VSP or those who just missed eligibility, (I know a few who missed it by a month or two), focus on getting your resume in order and taking advantage of any benefits that might help you at your next job. Such as training for various certifications and lining up people that would offer recommendations to future employers. Then next year, after you've had a chance to see where things are going you can decide on your next steps. For those relatively new to the firm take stock of where you want to be and what opportunities offer the best path to success and get the skills needed to meet that demand. EDJ is now nothing more than a stepping stone on your career path and should be treated as such.
Transparency is a joke,
@br I agree. I think people who turned down the VSP are now regretting it.
@OP I accepted the VSP. I struggled with my decision for months, but after seeing the first layoff, I know I made the right decision!!!! Good luck everyone.
I did not get a VSP offer (too fresh), but coworkers of mine did and opted out. So many changes are happening that if they had known about them at the time, they might have chosen differently. I think they really put people in a tough spot, provided no real transparency on the outcomes, and didn't give people much to work with other than threatening to ISP them if they didn't take VSP. The people that chose to stay should have been given a lot more information about what their work lives would actually look like at the end (of course it is definitely not the end).
