Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Stank complains about the age of his employees . . .

but when he needs someone to run something he hires all the old folks. He brought back Bonnie G out of retirement as a consultant, and has now move Sue J to run the transformation team.

He complains about the age of the average employee base, but last I checked he is NOT in his 30’s!

Well that’s what happens when you have no talent and promote yes people. Everyone that gets stuff done has either never been promoted up (to valuable to production, who else is going to do the work) or has left already.

The transformation team is a farce. All they need to do is send out a list of sites to retire and customers to migrate and with hundreds of managers making PowerPoints and having meetings they have accomplished neither of these simple objectives. These managers were all pulled from actual productive assignments to sit in meetings all day about Stankey's latest legacy shutdown edict that the tools already existed to handle if anyone in Dallas actually knew how the network is built.
