I understand that the bottom line gets helped with staff reduction. But they cut some staff when I was already working a full shift, even at home. I am definitely working more hours now to stay afloat with the duties. Sure, I get a faint "That a boy" from my boss, But really, how about bringing on a temp, or something? Anyone in similar shoes?

I heard IT people were laid off today not sure how true
That’s because the people in the nosebleed section making the decisions have never been in the trenches and have no idea how things really work. Unfortunately we as real workers pay for their bad decisions. Tech is finding that out now.
We should bring back voice of the team surveys. The feedback and results would certainly be interesting
You have to start saying no or they will abuse you over and over. Don't work more than your 8 hours and no weekends. It's not worth it.
Honestly, you are going to have to start letting things slip. They will not acknowledge a problem unless there actually is one and you getting it all done (regardless of cost to health and family) means there isnt a problem in their eyes.
Be brave enough to start saying no
Sounds like we work in the same group except you at least a little recognition. I’m resigning start of august. Im just too burnt out from the long nights.
Get back to work! Make me some money. Love, Chainsaw.
Occasionally but it's because the offshore guys drop the ball to much so I am there to pick it up.
