Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

I'm posting on here out of fear of retaliation from leadership. But you seem to have a lot of input on surveys, so let me ask you this:

When was the last time you lost 25% of your monthly income because some insatiable customer CHOSE to rate YOU a substantially low score because of your accent? Policy/procedure (COVID guidelines), someone else's mistake? Something completely out of your control?

Do you think dangling someone's livelihood like a carrot and taking out your frustrations on them from the comfort of your own home behind an email is ok? Why is it ok for my store to hit a 1.3 but be DECIMATED to a .9 for surveys because of something out of our teams control?

The thing that these corporate guys will never understand is that one year ago, retail was told to do things the one team way: Team selling, focusing on the customer and their satisfaction, no longer shoving s–t down their throats that they did not want or need because we no longer have an individual commission, but one that mostly relies on RIS scores.

Now things are different. We are individually monitored and coached because we are 1 bar reps for not slamming accounts with Home protection and credit cards. We thought our stress would decrease and we would like our jobs again... and we did for a while. But now, after moving to part time and enjoying the extra time with my family, work has become unbearable again. Its the same s–t as before with less pay.

That article is 100% right. Our GM beats us down when we sell WPP. It might as well not exist. I am terrified to pull up accounts and get a bad RIS score and have the rest of my team hate me because now everyone is getting less pay because some as—e customer didn't want to wear a mask in the store and now I am paying for it with a 1.
