I interviewed 2 weeks ago for a position at WFC. The manager eluded to the fact that there are many applicants and a few of them are internals.
What are my chances? Is interviewing outside the company just all “for show” or will I still have a good chance versus internal candidate?
Why even open up to public if they seem to have their mind made up?

OP, can you clarify the post? Did the manager possibly elude you in the interview by jumping out of an open window or exiting quickly through a side door? Or did he possibly allude to the fact that there were many applicants with grammatically correct resumés?
I personally would advise you to have your resumé redone to be grammatically sound and then continuing to apply. There will always be many applicants and you don’t do yourself a favor without a grammatically sound resumé

Not knowing you or the role, no idea of your chances. But 2 weeks? Get ready to wait. WF is notoriously slow to hire — even internal. Agree w others though, the fact that they bother looking outside prob isn’t just for show. Good luck!
Good luck, If your not of the right race, they don't want you. They're only looking for people who fit the Kamala Harris profile.
They wouldn't waste time interviewing an external candidate if you didn't have a chance. They do however do that to other internal candidates because its quicker and easier. So you are def in the running, it also can sometimes take Wells forever to get an offer out. I am guessing the internal candidates were not stellar or they wouldn't have even looked at anyone external.
Because they need to interview at least two minorities before they can hire anyone.
Depends on the hiring manager and who the competition is (both internal and external). No real way to tell from here.
Depends on your gender and race
You have a better chance than any internal candidate. WF right now is all about new blood. The feeling is that if you’ve been working here for a while you’re automatically stale and worthless.
Not sure why anybody would want to work here currently, but if you need the job good luck to you.
