My last paycheck was one of the worst and best days of my life and I am never coming back to this place.
I have just moved up on the food chain, where here there are no promotion opportunities, they only bring in friends from the outside for that or workers who are unskilled here.
Grass is greener no doubt but few companies are willing to pay as much as WF.
Happy to be long gone.

If you were making 100K, are you now making $1.5 million per annum? If you were making roughly $75K, which would seem to be tops based upon your writing, that would have been $1.125 million per annum. There is absolutely no way that for that kind of raise. To make anywhere near the ca$h you claim you would have to be at a level where you were politically savvy enough to play the game.
I think that you were minimum wage items processing, probably minimum scale overpaid in San Fran $30K. Even then 15 times is $450,000. Your post is more ludicrous than the obvious math. It is so nonsensical.

Grass is definitely greener where I am now. They are respectful of time zone differences and don't schedule meetings past 430pm my time. No one sends emails after 6pm. Everyone collaborates rather than competes. The teams are so supportive and always have each other's back.
The environment at Wells was so cutthroat in our group. And we weren't even revenue generating. The competitive nastiness was ridiculous.

A guy in our group considered himself a star. He quit and burnt some bridges on the way out

Wells is a good place to work. Pays well for skilled positions. Great people. Rewarding work. Yes it has issues but what place doesn’t...

Mine is coming soon. I was one of 1700+ that were 'displaced' (fired) in Dec. 2020 My 'official' tenue ends the end of March. I filed a complaint with HR and that was a total waste of time! F Wells Fargo!
That seem to be the way it is anymore. I know I keep losing coworkers and getting their work since they won’t backfill. Yet you don’t get a promotion either for handling everything. Don’t expect to transfer either for the reasons stated above.
Same! I just got my first paycheck from my new employer - 25% more than I was making per paycheck at WF.
