"Strong people don't put others down, they lift them up "
~Michael P. Watson
That seems to be the theme around Wells right now. Managers that used to have confidence and great teams are now just running scared and ensuring their teams look bad but they look good - i.e., inconsistently meets expectations, does not meet expectations – year-end ratings that are sooo prevalent now. Odd how entire teams, almost, can be rated as those ... I was always under the impression that management was responsible for their teams success or failure. Leadership is lacking. No one has personal accountability any longer and it's acceptable.
Any manager that takes a meets or exceeds team member and for their year-end review designates them as an inconsistently meets, does not meet or any other non-performing standard should be dealt with accordingly!
