Software Engineers are some of the most prideful and arrogent people on the planet and so therefore they always believe that they need more and always want to go to that next higher level. Companies try to give inflated titles as a means of a non-monatary reward. At some point when I reached a point to where the rewards are not worth the effort that you have to put in. You will reach a point of diminishing returns. My point is you may reach this as soon as you have entered a company.
I am just really busy mostly with mundane menial tasks like figuring out how logging works for some future project we are working on, having to schedule meetings with people who really didnt want to work with me just to make sure we can all work together, and many other menial tasks.
In the evening one night I wanted to watch 2 netfix meetings back to back and that night i could only watch one. I have a lot of after hours and weekend work i have to do for this position and they only give the inflated title but no monatary benefits.
I can go to a tech company and probably double my salary. I was hoping the position here would be more 9-5 versus 7am to 11 pm. Based on this and nothing to do with the company's state, i am moving on. Good luck to everyone!
