Good, it’s incredibly bloated. I have friend in Compliance. She’s a compliance snr manager. She has 4 directs, all IC’s. She reports to another compliance snr manager. That mgr has 2 managers reporting to her and a total of 11 reports. They report to a Compliance Director with 4 managers, 1 IC and a total of 28 reports. The most any of those managers has is 6 directs, the others have 2 or 1. He reports to a snr director with 4 directors under him and a total of 83 reports. Above that it starts to branch out and make sense.
You can remove like two layers of management, consolidate the groups, and replace most of the senior mgr/director roles with lower level manager roles and save a c-ap ton of capital. You would likely not increase any risk either. So many bloated over titled teams.
