I know that a lot of us are in the dark but I'm curious to see if anyone has heard anything about retail banking layoffs. I know that they're working on closing branches, and I'd assume that low vs. high volume branches and length of service would be considerations in which branches to close.
Does anyone know or have you heard anything about layoffs of tellers, bankers, and managers at branches? When, who, any other info?
A lot of people in my area are getting really nervous about this on top of the stress we are already dealing with from coronavirus and dealing with clients. Morale is really low and the prospect of possible future layoffs is making everything worse
