Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Our Regulator Point of Contact at OCC?

does anyone have the name and number/email for our regulator point of contact at OCC? Rather than continue fighting I will simply call the regulator and forward my stuff to them hoping they do something about it given the existing MRA rebuking our HR business practices.

Whatever the reason, ER will never substantiate any complaint regardless of the amount of documentation provided. Its as if they just go through the motions then close the complaint out no matter what is involved. Never seen anything like it.

Everyone should be reaching out to the regulators. I’ve done so.

The entire company is not necessarily corrupt, but it is designed overwhelmingly to support Wells Fargo management above the employee. Execs here are not willing to put their careers and paychecks on the line to support an employee above another manager, even when that manager is in their chain of command. Managers do not buck each other here. They protect each other. The card are stacked against the employees. I have witnessed this time and time again in person and can give outright examples.

Similarly, it is a well recognized fact that HR departments exist to serve corporations, not employees. I know several HR professionals who went in to the profession to help people but have since been disappointed with their real-world experiences.

I just had a good idea. Let’s ask Wells for some statistics: I would LOVE for them to give us the total number of employee complaints over the last 5 years. Then give us the # of complaints that were resolved in the employee’s favor vs the # of complaints that were resolved in Wells Fargo’s favor. If all is as how it should be, they should be proud to share this information. It is a fair question.

OP: when you get yourself an attorney, you tell him/her to ask for that information. And when you contact the OCC, I would recommend you ask them to request that same information from Wells while they are waiting for the backlog of 3000 employee complaints to be investigated by our HR department. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, try going to the head of the area if it’s that’s serious. (Ie the one or two down from operation committee). Some people act like the whole company is corrupt when maybe you just have a poor leader..

EEOC does not apply in these situations... textbook retaliation and toxic leadership with no help or support from management or ER despite documented evidence, etc.

I have experienced the same thing as you. Try filing an EEOC complaint to get them to take you seriously.
