I have been noticing an uptick in some aggressive comments out here. Might be a sign of the times. Might be employees are frustrated with the firm and are expressing their anger in the only way they safely can- anonymously. I think we have some participants who are getting their jollies by stirring people up.
Years of dysfunctional management and greed in the upper ranks is where it all started. And personally, I think the new management team is just different names playing a similar game with an approach that will be even more destructive to employees, customers and shareholders. What I do know is that the predominant problem is not the guy sitting next to you. Everyone is just trying to survive working for a broken firm. A more productive approach would be for employees to band together.
Just me, but I ignore any comments out here that are s-xist, racist, ageist, disrespectful. I don’t waste my time on comments that use inflammatory words like entitled, head-in-the-sand, ignorant, do-nothing, uneducated, c—roaches etc. I think some of the posters are frustrated employees who might have a genuine point to make, but they lose all credibility if they can’t communicate without being so incendiary. Or I assume they are non-employees who enjoy stirring the pot.
