“Let’s go win.”
The closing statement to Rob Forsyths (VP - Ready To Go) official communication regarding IHX and Covid19. The priority is clear: sales > safety. No hand sanitizer or wipes being made available. No dispatch filtering / prioritization for high risk customers (landline, access, etc.) Their only strategy was to mimic the technicians verbiage. They literally copied and pasted that organizations directive. Copied. And. Pasted.
We perform no essential function for the customers service call. At a minimum we should introduce ourselves as an optional part of their dispatch. At least let customers make an informed decision about allowing us into the home. They forgive our intention for sales on a normal day, but not when there is a f—ing pandemic and an 85 year old grandmother in the next room.
Rob & Chip - Since you’ve made it clear you read these... if an expert tests positive for COVID19, will you be the one to reach out to all their customers from dispatch and inform them that they were unnecessarily exposed? Maybe I’m wrong, but I seriously doubt it.
You guys created a unique, modern sales channel that customers and employees love (for the most part). One PR disaster will tank it. Do the right thing. Take the hit up front so that IHX can continue to “Go Win”.
