Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Employees Should Be Ambassadors Of Thier Company

Employees should be the first ones promoting their company's products to friends, families, and the general public. Yet Randall, Mr Stanky, and the other flotsam in the C-Suite have been so incompetent with the company's direction and so abusive to their workforce for so long that employees actively discourage friends and family from using this company.

Nor do they fell the need to purchase this company's services themselves when they no longer feel loyalty from management and can get a better deal elsewhere, even with the employee discount.

Whereas AT&T employees used to take immense pride in their company and let everybody know it, they are now embarrassed to even admit that they work at this place. Near universal employee hostility toward their workplace is but one more example how the incompetence and greed of Randall and the C-Suite have destroyed this company.

I worked for Ameritech, SBC, T and did recommend some of the products because I used them and knew which were OK. But then friends and family would start to get down on me about problems they had. I wanted to help but was only an employee and they needed people that could fix their problem. So I had to stop talking about T's products to avoid this conflict I couldn't solve.

I wouldn’t recommend AT&T to anyone, and it’s been that way for a long time.

Yeah I remember the pride I used to feel wearing my bellsouth uniform. Now I take company ID off and change my shirt when I go to lunch. So embarrassed to be an att employee.

I'm not a politician, lawyer, salesman, dry waller, PR man, advocate, ombudsman, advocate, therapist, etc.
I'm here to make as much $$$ as I can in the least amount of time.
I'm no more those things than RS is a tech.

I learned years ago to avoid conversations like where to you work because once it was learned I worked for SBC/AT&T I would get an ear full. It wasn’t so bad under Ameritech but got worst over the years. Surplused 2/19

Gee, maybe all the employees Ratty and all the other minions whacked and rebadged and replaced with all those those over in Mumbai - the ones in India should tout the T products. Oh wait, T does not have any products in India!

I don't think anyone could understand them if the did tout any T products?
