I was surprised to see around 40k reviews giving it a rather favorable overall place to work. What the...? Upon closer reading, there is a single review from 18 months ago and the rest is from 2014 or earlier! They must be deleting negative reviews somehow.
AT&T posts a lot of fake positive reviews just as they have trolls posting on this site. I've seen enthusiastically positive Uverse installer reviews that were obviously not written by any Premises Technician that ever worked for this company.
As every department at this place has their own terminology, you could see that the posters from the fake Premises Technician reviews came from a completely different department and asked for things that a Premises Technician would never asked for - such as increased work responsibilities to better serve the customer.
The leadership of this company possesses no ethics at all, and will lie, cheat and steal to enhance their fake fabricated image to the world.

When I worked for Spring mobile they made all of their employees submit positive reviews for their company. Actually made district managers count the amount of reviews per store to match the amount of employees.
Follow the money. AT&T advertises on Glassdoor and that maybe the leverage to have negative reviews removed.
it was 2-3 years ago, on both Glassdoor and Indeed where I saw a lot of negative reviews mostly from ex-employees and former contractors. Where the general consensus was AT&T seem to hate internal IT workers, and explained why they seemed to be a big target. That's the Stankey effect.
I used to work for another company that was awful and I gave it a 1 star. It posted briefly, but somehow it got removed. I think they only post meaningful good comments and remove ranting comments or anything close to a rant.
The key with Glassdoor is reading the comments. I’ve spotted several negative to T reviews that have 4 and 5 stars. Clearly something is amiss...
AT&T leadership has failed.
Good employers empower their employees. They seek innovation, ideas and better ways to do things not punish everyone and tell everyone how bad they did the day before. Check out The WBDR on YouTube or big daddy rich who in turn made crazy videos about life at AT&T but the sad thing is all his videos were spot on. Including the one about his life post AT&T. So folks it is better to get away while you still can. Seen it first hand educated bell head, came from a tech, to 1st line to 2nd line staff then surplus 1 he survived, surplus 2 not so much, 6 months later - dead of a heart attack.. he was a very good man, family and young kids but time after time this company just eats everything up for every cent they think they can squeeze from you and spit you out.....

yeah and glassdoor does the same thing. I never saw my one star review on glassdoor so I don't give reviews anymore on those places it is nothing but pr for the company.
