What about systems techs? They do similar work as DTs
Not strange at all. Business Services as a whole was playing a distant fiddle to U-Verse and Wireless services enterprise wide. That has all changed in the last couple of years. The very small, small and medium size business markets are showing tremendous growth with a huge emphasis on WiFi, SD-WAN and VoIP services. Also, state-wide hosted 911 growth is off the charts for emergency services. Lots of growth = lots of additional deployment work which = more headcount for installation and support.

What is the job role of the Digital Technician? I have never heard of such job role.
They have to get rid of the ones who built up benefits. Should be illegal. They do the same thing with managers
