C&E-DEG being merged with AFO-Business

I have it on good authority that C&E-DEG and AFO-Business will finally be merging enterprise wide. Planned announcement is 10/3. Can anyone confirm?

How does knowing who your VP or SVP impact your ability to provide customer service?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. That's all I know for now.

Lol. I’m thoroughly confused. This is the problem with att. They keep shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic. If employees can’t understand our own organization , how can we expect to serve customers well.

The AFO-Business and C&E-DEG merger has nothing to do with the TFS/IEFS re-organization that officially takes place tomorrow. DEG (Digital Electronics Group) and Business Services (SSI&M/CPE/Managed Services) have been and will continue to be a separate entity within the AFO environment. The TFS/IEFS re-org only includes I&M, Cable Repair, Air Pressure, Central Office 4-wall and Power, DTV, U-Verse techs (prem/wire) and Utility Ops.
