I have it on good authority that C&E-DEG and AFO-Business will finally be merging enterprise wide. Planned announcement is 10/3. Can anyone confirm?

How does knowing who your VP or SVP impact your ability to provide customer service?
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. That's all I know for now.
Lol. I’m thoroughly confused. This is the problem with att. They keep shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic. If employees can’t understand our own organization , how can we expect to serve customers well.
The AFO-Business and C&E-DEG merger has nothing to do with the TFS/IEFS re-organization that officially takes place tomorrow. DEG (Digital Electronics Group) and Business Services (SSI&M/CPE/Managed Services) have been and will continue to be a separate entity within the AFO environment. The TFS/IEFS re-org only includes I&M, Cable Repair, Air Pressure, Central Office 4-wall and Power, DTV, U-Verse techs (prem/wire) and Utility Ops.
SSIM will clear all door alarms and wire tech managers will be spooged with orange battery grease for upper management.
Deg-SIMM & Appendix G work all together in one work group
What about door alarms and the orange battery grease?
Confirmed, announcement Oct 1st.
CE-DEG will now be assigned all wire tech assigned tasks due to departmental reorg on 10/1/19
How does this affect SSIM techs ? Will they be in the same dept now ?
1uoa, It means SSDD
What does this mean exactly, from an operational standpoint ?
Yep. Specials will still be performing all MLT work.
Specials still gonna be doing the testability tickets?
We got the Scott Mair announcement on Friday. Went to Level 3 and above.
About time.... gravy train is over DEG techs.
