Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How many bad decisions can the CEO make before they send him packing?

Randall is the one they need to cut. Several bad decisions in a row going back to the 4 billion pay out for the failed T-Mobile merger, 45 billion for Dtv and 100 billion for time warner all in declining markets. How many bad decisions can the CEO make before they send him packing. The time warner purchase has sent the company in a downward spiral having an unrecoverable amount of debt and now the employees are paying the price for managements horrible decisions. I should know they cut me in oct of 18 after 19 years. Never had a bad review and received several progressions. It's past due time to send Randall down the road!

Excellent post from @11Vwnyzb-1wbd, wanted to make it more visable.

"How many bad decisions can the CEO make..." I'm blowing off steam here: 1 x 10 to the 10 power.

It happens when the yearly dividend increase finally stops. Until then it is BAU, using layoffs and out sourcing to keep it going.

The saddest part is that when The Rat finally does leave, he will go gliding away on his 50 million dollar golden parachute. A complete outrage to the investors and a smack in the face to the hard working employees who get sent packing with nothing.

Randy and stankey are probably blaming the employees that getting laid off. They aren't doing what we tell them to do wahhh so the board probably believes them.

In response to your headline question, apparently he can make many and keep his job. Finally, Elliott Management has called him on his poor performance and indicated he shouldn't be CEO and his buddy Stankey is not the right COO and certainly not qualified to be CEO. One can only hope with new board members added that searching for a new CEO that can profitably innovate and will clean out the dead wood will be a priority
