CWA if you want to stop losing members and show your serious about securing a good contract, WALK AWAY from the negotiating table and call a strike the next time AT&T
“refuses to give any genuine consideration to our demands. The company expects us to make recessions on job security, seniority, and benefits, while offering us modifications of our proposals that do not address our concerns. Unfortunately, in response to nearly ever issue that our members have raised up to the team, AT&T responds by stating “The company has no interest”.
You have put yourself and us in this position by letting contract negotiations drag out time and time again. It’s time to break that trend if you really are concerned about our best interest. AT&T is steadily outsourcing jobs and laying off. If it continues, eventually they will truly not need us and it will be too late.
Call their bluff now, while you still have a decent hand to play. Nobody else will stop AT&T’s crooked ways, and the ones who could are easily paid off. You already have the vote in and employees have overwhelmingly said strike. If your not in bed with AT&T also PROVE IT!
